What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an Accounts Intern to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist in maintaining financial records, supporting daytoday accounting operations, and helping the Accounts team enhance its efficiency. You will collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless financial processes and compliance with regulatory requirements. As part of a dynamic company working at the forefront of AI and machine learning, you will gain valuable experience in accounting and contribute to our continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assist with Financial Operations: Support the daily operations of the Accounts Department, including handling petty cash and helping to review cash flow.
• Maintain Financial Records: Help with maintaining financial records, tracking expenditures, and reconciling accounts for daytoday transactions.
• Support Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and half yearly financial statements.
• Manage Cash and Bank Books: Aid in the recording and booking of cash and bank transactions.
• Assist with Payroll: Support the preparation of salary sheets and processing monthly payroll.
• Procurement Support: Help with procurement related documentation and maintaining inventory and procurement accounts.
• Admin Support: Assist in maintaining admin related records and providing support to management in admin tasks.
• VAT & Tax: Help with deducting VAT & Tax and ensuring timely deposits to the bank.
• Perform Other Duties: Take on additional duties as assigned by the finance team or management.

Who You Are:

We are looking for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and GSuite, with familiarity in accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks being a plus.
• Knowledge:A basic understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
• Mindset: A detail oriented individual with a willingness to learn, an organized approach, and a commitment to contributing to the success of the Accounts team.
